Exciting news: we moved! James and I have been thinking about upgrading to a bigger apartment for a while now, especially after the wedding when we realized we didn't even have enough space to unpack most of our gifts. We weren't planning on moving for another month or so, but when a great unit suddenly became available we knew we had to grab it. So, we made the switch from a 1bed 1bath to a 2bed 2bath and it is amazing. All the extra space is a dream!
As much as I'd love to get the apartment fully furnished and decorated ASAP, I know we don't have the time or money to do it all at once. Instead I've been focusing on one section at a time and working with what we have until we can afford to purchase some of the bigger items we need (kitchen table, chairs, another bed, etc). I couldn't wait to start with the adorable new built-in shelves we have in our kitchen nook and I thought I'd share the results. #Shelfie
