James & I recently got our engagement pictures back and we are SO happy with how they turned out. Our photographer is the amazing Kaylee Labor and we shot them around sunset in a nearby nature preserve for a rustic, outdoorsy look. After seeing the finished pictures, I can happily say they are well worth the heat, humidity, and bugs we had to deal with while shooting! Thank God!
I was also really happy with how our props turned out. We stressed almost until the last minute over what props to incorporate into the shoot or if we should even use props at all. I tried finding cute ideas on Pinterest but nothing really felt like "us". Finally, we came across some tea/coffee mugs on clearance in Hobby Lobby and it just clicked- we love coffee! I bought them along with a chalk paint marker and added "Mr." and "Mrs." on them. In the pictures they were small and simple but it was perfect for us!
